If you are considering joining GWIC late in the membership year (i.e. April or early May) please be aware that you will have to renew your membership by 1 August of the same year. You may prefer to participate as a guest until the Annual General Meeting at the end of May, when early registration for the new membership year begins. Coffees and teas for the summer "overlap period" are no charge with new or old membership.

The purpose of the organisation shall be to promote social and cultural exchange between the women of the Guangzhou Expatriate Community through meetings, activities & charity contributions in the spirit of mutual understanding and friendship. Activities shall be non-political and non-profit. GWIC Membership shall be extended to women holding a non-PRC passport or whose husband holds a non-PRC passport. Proof of Foreign Citizenship is required.

GWIC has many Activity Groups and Committees. If you would like to get involved or just want to know more, please contact the Activity Coordinator in the Gazette or ask a Board Member. This is your Club and we look forward to having you participate. Return completed form to the Membership Coordinator, a Board Member or your Housing Representative, and come to the next Morning Coffee or Afternoon Tea to pick up your Membership Card from the New Members table. If you cannot attend any Coffees/Teas, please notify us to send you your card.

GWIC prints a Membership Directory twice each year for our members. It includes your Name, Address, Contact Number and Passport Country. Please write (private) next to any information you don't wish to appear in the GWIC Membership Directory. (Private information and email address will be shared only with your housing representative, so that she can contact you to deliver your Gazette).
