The Gazette is a forum to entertain, inform and sometimes challenge our members and readers. Contributions can be on any subject. For example travel, environment, health, lifestyle or poems, advice and short stories. Alternatively it can be artwork (photography, handicrafts or paintings) or cooking recipes. If your contribution meets the Guangzhou Women’s International Club (GWIC) objectives then it can be included.

We are always seeking new contributions, suggestions and ideas so please contact us.

Contribution guidelines:

  1. Articles to be of approximately 600 words to maximum 1,500 words.
  2. Articles to be submitted in a Microsoft Word document and in English (if you are a GWIC Member and unable to submit in English please contact the Editor who can make arrangements for translation). Photography to support is welcome, files should be hi-res JPEGs.
  3. Author’s credit will be given on Contributor’s page. Please supply 50-60 word overview of yourself and a photograph (preferably a head shot, no hat or sunglasses and as a hi-res JPEG).
  4. To avoid disappointment for inclusion in a particular issue please contact the Gazette Editor at least one (1) week before the material deadline.
